What we're about

Life is too short to be anything but happy. Tomorrow is never guaranteed so lets get out and live a little. This group is for anyone who wants to get out and have fun and meet new people. Summer is approaching which means concerts, festivals, cookouts, drinks on the patio, anything outdoors. There isn't much we won't try at least once so feel free to make suggestions on meet up ideas. Join us and lets have some fun!

West Side Pickle Ball!

Needs a location

West Side Pickleball. Private Location in Lorain.
Dinner at local establishment afterward. Must have own Pickleball rackets.
This first time we have this will have one game going on at once.
Just ordered a brand new net and 12 pickleballs. Ten dollar donation to offset the cost.
We can use this place anytime it's open except 10-12 on Sundays. MAYBE a pickleball Friday Night?

In the future we will have 20 people 2 games going at once, plus subs. But we have to see how this goes first. Must be respectful.

##### Pickleball is fun, social and friendly! The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game.

If you want to come and just watch, you can!

Giant Jenga at The Office in Strongsville

Office Lounge

Join us at the Office Lounge in Strongsville 8800 Pearl Road for a rousing evening of Giant Jenga. Our first get together was a blast and its a great way to meet new people as you play multiple games with different partners. No way to describe the deafening crash of the Jenga collapsing. Plus right next door is the best pizza at A Slice Above (you can eat in between games right at your table) Additional parking behind the building. Hope to see you there!

Play Bridge / Learn Bridge

Independence Branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library

Every Monday at 6:30.

If you've never played before, that's ok. We'll teach you, but there are 2 requirements:

  1. You need a solid understanding of at least 1 other trick-taking game (pinochle, euchre, hearts, spades...)
  2. You need to show up consistently. If you come this week and 2 weeks later and 4 weeks after that, you'll never get it.

If you're an experienced player, please join us whenever you can. There won't be a lot of "lecture", mostly just playing.

March 27: Independence library
If you signed up and can't make it, please Edit RSVP at the bottom of the event. Don't be a No Show.

Happy Hour + Airport Plane Observation

The Aviator Pub & Restaurant

CROSS POSTED!

This is the site of the former Bomber's Group Restaurant.

I reserved the high top tables in the bar area, so that we can be by the windows. Keep your RSVP accurate, change it to a no by the FRIDAY prior as I have to tell them that day how many of us are coming -- they need to plan their staff accordingly.

The Aviator is off to a GREAT start! I went there for pierogi week and was impressed.

I am working on an extension of happy hour specials. Currently, it runs from 4 to 6.

We can have 50 people! Event is cross posted! Each group will allow 20 or so people to attend -- a waitlist is available.

Kindly keep your RSVP accurate to accommodate serious attendees -- if you sign up to attend but your plans change, please change your RSVP to a no to allow those on the waitlist to attend.
