What we’re about
This is a region-wide community group that is interested in accelerating climate change solutions locally, nationally and globally through accelerating carbon pricing. We are non-partisan. We meet with media, the community, parliamentarians and government to explain how we can shift to a better future in a timely manner.
Also, it is great to meet like-minded people and to be part of a community with solutions!
Hosts : The group's current hosts (thank you!) are members of the volunteer-led association "Citizens' Climate Lobby Australia" - CCL Aus for short.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby Australia is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy and education organisation focused on accelerating climate change solutions through democracy. We are volunteer-driven — we write to, meet and talk with politicians, citizens, community leaders, business leaders and media from across the political spectrum. We promote solutions that will be effective in reducing carbon emissions, as well as driving a transition away from fossil fuels and towards the renewable energy future we all want for Australia.
