LiDAR for Energy Production and Emissions Monitoring: Aurora Solar & TBD
Details
LiDAR has been around since the 60s with the invention of the laser and was even used in 1971 to map parts of the moon, but it's really come into vogue in the last decade because of autonomous vehicles.
What many don't know are all of its many other uses in mapping and sustainability. Our speakers will share how it can be used to improve the estimation of the electrical production of a solar array or map and track various emissions.
Our Schedule

JOBS
Have you seen the jobs board for CleanWeb (http://bit.ly/FindCleanWebJobs)? It helps our member companies to boost the publicity of their open positions. This will evolve and I greatly appreciate your feedback on how CleanWeb can better support you and this industry of ours. If you have a job you'd like to post to our members, that lives here (http://bit.ly/PostCleanWebJobs). There are already 14 jobs on there and it's growing every week!
If you'd like to learn more about engineering jobs at SunRun, Chris and some of his team will be at the meetup tonight as well as available during the week via his contact information which is on our Jobs page in the link above.
Cut Me Some Slack
Our conversations at the meetups are great and in order to replicate and amplify them, I've started a CleanWeb Slack Team (http://bit.ly/2x410Ml) for us. We've had a few conversations on there and want more. Please join in, post something interesting, and help grow the conversation.
