Ready to stretch those legs and take on a rewarding hiking challenge? Join us for a refreshing hike up to Gwanngyo Mountain (광교산) – one of the most scenic and accessible mountains near Suwon and Yongin featuring beautiful trail full of forest paths, rocky climbs, and stunning panoramic views.
This hike is best for those who are up for a solid day on the trail and want to enjoy nature with a fun group. If you're in for a bit of a challenge and a lot of beauty, this hike is for for you !Details:

⛰️ Distance: ~14 km round trip

- Comfortable hiking shoes (we recommend sturdy hiking shoes or boots-we do not recommend sneakers)

- Seoul Trail Adventure ! - Course 6 - GodeoksanGwangnaru Station, Seoul
Dear CIKers,
On Sunday, May 18th, let's walk along the Seoul Trail (서울 둘레길) course 13 from Gwangnaru Station EXIT 2 광나루역 2번 출입구 to finish at Godeoksan station 고덕역 .This walk takes around 3 hours, depending on our own speed and ability. The trail is classified EASY. As this trail is mostly flat, we will try to walk in a dynamic way (nordic style walking) to exercise ! :-D
For more information about the Seoul trail, how to get the Stamp book, (there is a QR version, so you actually don't need a paper version, only your phone when hiking ;-) )

- Chuncheon King Canoe Race Competition, Hike & Dakgalbi!킹카누 나루터, Chuncheon
Dear CIKers!
Are you ready to challenge yourselves for a fun canoeing race along the Uiamdam river in Chuncheon?
We are invited to participate in the King Canoe Race Competition in Chun-Cheon. You will be racing in the Uiam river in Chuncheon. A canoe for 8 persons, paddles and standard size flotation devices will be provided. The length of the course will be approximately 300 meters on a one way course. 1 or 2 practices including coaching on canoe paddling will be available on the morning of the race.
We will split into 7 teams ( 8 people in each canoe) including Women`s teams (we are looking for team leaders ! Let us know if you like to volunteer:). Also, we can team up by continent or country (e.g. Asia, US, English, German, etc., if so, your country's flag will be provided). Teams are allowed a maximum of 8 registered members racing at one time; 1 Steerer(provided) and 8 Paddlers.
PRIZE - the top 5 boats will be reward some amazing prizes. More info on the prizes later.
Please RSVP yes if you're interested! Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to spend a fantastic day in the breath-taking scenery.
After the canoeing race, the afternoon will start with a gorgeous easy hike that never fails to leave everyone speechless. We will embark on a 2h (approximately 4km) easy climb up Dereumsan, the way has a slight and smooth incline without rocky terrain. Beginners and experienced hikers are all welcome!! The top of Dereumsan offers a breathtaking view over lake Uiam and the surrounding valley.
Sounds amazing right? One more thing.. FOOD! we plan to visit and take part in the local cuisine at a very famous and delicious Chuncheon Dakgalbi restaurant which has invited us for dinner! If you are a vegetarian, you can order some noodles instead. Please bring around 12,000 won in cash for the Dakgalbi (dinner) if you want.
Fee - 100,000 won for each team (Canoe race participation fee + Hambergers): Each team leader MUST register name of the team, provide each team members' name and pay the canoe race`s participation fee by June 12th.
