See all- 🥋Grandmaster's Taekyun Class (Traditional Korean Martial Art)걸련택견협회, Seoul
Hello CIKers! 😊
K-Xplore is a platform that introduces events and programs for those who want to experience life in Korea like a local! From outdoor activities and sports to lifestyle and beauty, you can discover a variety of events and easily apply and manage them. :)
This event is specially prepared for those of you who are interested in experiencing traditional Korean culture.Have you ever heard of Taekyun?
Taekyun is a traditional Korean martial art with a history even older than Taekwondo.
But rather than just being a fighting technique, it’s more like training to move fluidly and understand the natural flow of your body.
Instead of clashing with force, you flow with your opponent’s movement and respond with your own balance.
The movements are soft and natural, yet filled with solid power and rhythm.
Most of all, Taekyun is unique in that anyone — regardless of age or gender — can learn and enjoy it.
K-Xplore is proud to present a brand-new Taekyun class led by a certified Grandmaster.✔ If you’re interested in Korean martial arts
✔ If you want to explore self-discipline through movement
✔ If you’re looking to train both body and mindThis program is supported by the Kyulyun Taekyun Association,
