This is an intermediate trip for those who wish to do some outdoor sports leading. We will arrive in the Grampians on Friday night, climb and camp for two days.
This trip will be open to new sport climbers but you'll need to have a lead pass from a gym and be comfortable taking and catching lead falls. Sport grades start at around 16.
Trip cost is approximate and assumes you need to borrow club gear.
We will be camping at Stapylton Campground, I will book a group site for everyone. There are drop toilets, campfires and a group shelter with a small table. There is rainwater for cooking and cleaning but it's recommended to treat this before drinking or bring your own. You will need to bring all of your own camping and climbing equipment (or borrow it from the gear room) and food, there is nowhere nearby to buy food.
If I don't know you, please let me know of your relevant climbing experience in the comments when joining.
If you can bring a rope and quickdraws let me know in the comments.
See you all there!
