About us

FinOps ensures you get the most value out of every dollar spent in cloud. In the same way that DevOps revolutionized development by breaking down silos and increasing agility, FinOps increases the business value of cloud by bringing together technology, business and finance professionals with a new set of processes.

We are a group of cloud users in Frankfurt and the Rhein-Main area with an interest in FinOps and cloud financial management. All backgrounds and levels of experience are welcome.

Our goal is for our members to share experiences, to learn from each other and to build a community of like-minded cloud financial specialists. We want to get together and discuss Finance, Tech and Cloud / On Premise and how to optimise workloads and save costs.

The aim of the group is to build a community to share knowledge and connect to other people working in the same area. We're happy to discuss outcomes and how problems have been solved but don't want the group to become all about product features.
