What we’re about

Who are we?

***

"Cloud User Group Tamil Nadu" - This community is dedicated for uniting enthusiasts, developers, and technologists who are keen on AWS, GCP, Azure, AliCloud etc, fostering a space for networking, exchanging ideas, and collaborative project development on the Cloud platform. While other Cloud User Groups predominantly focus metropolitan areas, their presence is scarcely felt within state of Tamil Nadu's farther remote communities.

Our initiative prioritizes extending our reach beyond the urban perimeter, connecting communities in the more remote areas of the state. To enrich and diversify the expertise within these communities, we will regularly organize monthly meetups across various regions in Tamil Nadu, India. These meetups will be hosting technical discussions, presentations, and hands-on workshops, all centered around the multifaceted services of Cloud platforms.

Who can attend OR participate?

***

You may be a Software Programmer/Developer, or a Cloud Engineer, or a DevOps Engineer, or a Researcher, or a Trainer, or a Non-Technical enthusiast, or a Student, or a Academician, or someone starting from scratch, or even someone who doesn't know what a Cloud is.... you still have a role to attend, network and learn something out of this community. If you are willing to present / give a talk in this community meet up, you are more than welcome to do so - just let the organizer know about it! Note, the registration and participation is completely free. This entire community initiative is on non-profit basis

How frequently is this meetup scheduled? And where?

***

The group intends to host meetups in Hybrid mode. Depending on the venue sponsors and availability, we may host the meetup in specific city, OR go completely virtual event. We aim to host at least one meetup per month. The venue and timing information will be communicated to the group members well in advance. Rush to register your slot at the earliest, as the seats are limited for In-Person events

How to submit my presentation?

***

Anyone is welcome to submit their presentation title and abstract as long as you find the content is valuable and relevant to the Tech community. The moderator panel reserves the right to approve the presentation after detailed review of the abstract/slide deck. The presentation time limit is typically 30 minutes including Q&A and is strictly enforced to keep the agenda on track. The moderator panel will allocate a slot for your speech based on the availability and backlog for the month.
