An Introduction to Apache CloudStack and Use Cases!

The CloudStack Silicon Valley User Group is kicking off the Beginner's Guide to Apache CloudStack Series starting with Part 1 - An Introduction to Apache CloudStack. This will be presented by Geoff Higginbottom, CTO at Shapeblue.

6:30pm - 7:30pm: An Introduction to Apache CloudStack by Geoff Higginbottom

Geoff will provide an introduction to CloudStack, including a live demonstration of the technology.

7:30pm - 8:30pm: Designing a Production Ready CloudStack Cloud by Geoff Higginbottom

Geoff will share his significant experience of desiging CloudStack Clouds, summarising a tried and tested approach to what can be daunting task.

8:30pm - 9:00pm: Q&A and Networking

About Geoff

Geoff is CTO of ShapeBlue Ltd, a leading CloudStack implementation specialist. Geoff has designed numerous Apache CloudStack and Citrix CloudPlatform Cloud Infrastructures, for both Public and Private Cloud use cases. Geoff regularly speaks at the CloudStack European User Group, and has both presented and participated in expert panels at CloudStack Collaboration Conferences held in Las Vegas in 2012, Santa Clara and Amsterdam in 2013. An Apache CloudStack Committer, Geoff regularly contributes into the community in the form of Technical Blogs, Documentation and Support via the User Mailing List. Geoff designed and delivers a very successful CloudStack 2 Day Bootcamp course, which has been delivered around the globe.
