Charlotte Dragon Boat Association is a non-profit organization created to promote the sport of dragon boating in our region.

Charlotte Dragonboat invites all meetup folks to come and try it out. No experience is necessary. All age groups and fitness levels are welcome and we provide all the gear. You just need to wear workout clothes that can get splashed on, and bring water to drink.
Competitive team practice:
Wednesday 6:30 PM till 7:45 PM
Saturday 8:45 AM till 10:00 AM
Beginner dragon boat practice:
Saturday 10:00 AM till 11:30 AM

Reschedule CDBA Newcomers/Veterans Practice--Sat, 1030hrs, The Lake House!
Lake House Wine Bar & Grill, 18665 Harborside Drive, Cornelius, NC, USDue to high winds, this session is rescheduled to Sunday, March 29 at 12:30pm.
This session is for Newcomers and all CDBA veterans. Show time is 1030 hrs (for now)! Boats launch at NLT 1100 hrs!
New members, be sure to bring water, sungalsses, proper athletic gear, etc. We will provide PFDs (life-vests) and paddles. However, you may bring your own PFDs.Everyone, be sure to sign up on Meetup! All paddlers must sign the e-waiver for 2026 (click link below).
