Charlotte Dragonboat invites all meetup folks to come and try it out. No experience is necessary. All age groups and fitness levels are welcome and we provide all the gear. You just need to wear workout clothes that can get splashed on, and bring water to drink.

Competitive team practice:

Wednesday 6:30 PM till 7:45 PM

Saturday 8:45 AM till 10:00 AM

Beginner dragon boat practice:

Saturday 10:00 AM till 11:30 AM

Dr. John *************************************************** Hello CDBA, Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are suspending all practices until further notice! In the meantime, please continue your conditional routine in a safe manner. Practice social distancing. Stay safe, calm, and be considerate of everyone. Best Regards, -Kim Wong Warmup at 6:10 PM. Boats leave the dock at 6:30 PM sharp, and return around 7:30 PM. RSVP closes one day before the Meetup start time. The Wednesday practice is "Reserved for the CDBA racing team members." If you are new to the club, and like to attend the Wednesday evening practice, please talk to Dr. John Chen first before signing up.

CDBA Racing, Recreational, and Beginners crew, Saturday 09:00 AM

Morningstar Marinas at Kings Point

Hello Crew: Going forward, we will only hold one practice at the Morningstar Marina. All paddlers are welcome. The first 20 mins will be used to train new and rookie paddlers. The next 15-20 mins for stroke and technique drills. Finally, the remaining 40 mins will be for racing drills. Boats will return to the dock around 1100 hrs. If you are a beginner, be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water, sun glasses, and sun screen. Probably a small seating pad is encouraged. Please also check in with Dr Chen, CDBA club founder/chairman, or Brian Tarle, club president, or Kim Wong, team captain. Masks are encouraged but optional at this time during in-boat training until further notice. *************************************************************************** Stretch at 0910 hrs.
