Charlotte Dragon Boat Association is a non-profit organization created to promote the sport of dragon boating in our region.

Charlotte Dragonboat invites all meetup folks to come and try it out. No experience is necessary. All age groups and fitness levels are welcome and we provide all the gear. You just need to wear workout clothes that can get splashed on, and bring water to drink.
Competitive team practice:
Wednesday 6:30 PM till 7:45 PM
Saturday 8:45 AM till 10:00 AM
Beginner dragon boat practice:
Saturday 10:00 AM till 11:30 AM

Veterans who want extra water time are welcome but the practice is geared towards Surge.

2026 Baltimore Dragon Boat Challenge, Sat, Jul 25.
Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park, 1417 Thames Street, Baltimore, MD, USIt's Back! The Baltimore Challenge, one of the more competative races on the East coast, will be at a new venue. And we will field a crew of no more than the top 24 members. Crew selection will be based on Club dues paid, time trial, attendance record, and coach/captain input.
"Guest" are used for our 'Minor' CDBA members.Between this and the Richmond DB Festival, 8/1/26, we will only partake in one or the other (whichever one has the most interest and top paddlers).
