Charlotte Dragon Boat Association is a non-profit organization created to promote the sport of dragon boating in our region.

Charlotte Dragonboat invites all meetup folks to come and try it out. No experience is necessary. All age groups and fitness levels are welcome and we provide all the gear. You just need to wear workout clothes that can get splashed on, and bring water to drink.
Competitive team practice:
Wednesday 6:30 PM till 7:45 PM
Saturday 8:45 AM till 10:00 AM
Beginner dragon boat practice:
Saturday 10:00 AM till 11:30 AM

- 2025 DB Time-Trial, Sat, 6/21/25, 0730 - 1030! Lake HousePort City Club, Cornelius, NC
This time-trial is reserved for all paid Fury and Surge crew members only. (Rain Date, TBD). Show time is 0730 hrs. Be sure to do a brief warm-up/stretch upon arrival. We will commence the Time trial NLT 0800. Please sign up asap. As always, there is a weigh-in at the trial. Bring water or sports drink. This is a major criterion for the race crew selection process; so, sign up and show up. As with all time trials, we'll need a few crew members stationed along the course. Again, you must've paid your 2025 membership dues to be eligible for the time trial! Do your best to make the time trail; it is heavily weighted during the race crew selection process!
