Club Hemingway is the original and free to enter American-style literary open mic event for English-speaking writers who live in Valencia to come and read their work aloud to a crowd of friendly listeners. Cocktails, seats, air con and a full bar available. Turn up with your piece or poem to read of about 2-3 minutes, put your name in the bowl, get a chupito or three, and wait to be called to the stage! Members from around the world, of all ages and levels have made lasting friendships at our events! Starts 7pm for a 7.30 start. All welcome to join in. LGBTIA+ friendly, refugee friendly, nervous nelly friendly, beginner friendly! If you have a favourite poem by someone else, feel free to read that too. Literature appreciation friendly!
