Working remotely, working efficiently and "living the dream?"
Are you dreaming about working online while exploring the world? Do you work with a remote team and want to maximize your team's efficiency? Do want to know if you could/should become a digital nomad?
There are relatively few barriers to entry to working remotely while traveling, especially in the Community Management space. However, is traveling the world 365 days a year the right thing for you, or your team? How can you maintain productivity and a team-oriented culture? What jobs are out there for remote workers? What tools and tricks do remote teams use?
In this presentation, we will be talking about the path to freelancing and remote working, the ups and downs of traveling while working, and what remote workers and their employers must do to maintain productivity.
Bea Dominguez is a content strategist, social media specialist and visual designer from San Francisco. She works with startups, non-profit organizations, brands, and individuals to create content marketing, community, and design-driven strategies that help attract and retain users and clients.
After working in Silicon Valley for over eight years, Bea quit her job in 2016 to pursue her dream of traveling and eating her way through the world. Since then, she has been to 33 countries and has lived in Berlin and Zurich.
