Ecological Book Club in the Garden

Details
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
This year, so far, has been a challenging one on many fronts, especially for those of us who prioritize caring for our planet. We believe that, in the face of these challenges, one of the most effective, healing, heartening responses is to join a community of like-minded folks with whom to share ideas, friendship, and celebrations.
To this end, we are starting an ecological book club that will meet monthly on Sunday afternoons at our garden on 76 Race St.
Our book this month is The Hologram: Feminist, Peer-to-Peer Health for a Post-Pandemic Future by Cassie Thornton.
The book club will be facilitated by Melissa Blum, CNGF board co-chair, who previously taught Literature and Writing at Stanford and the University of Minnesota.
We can decide together what we want our book club to look like, but we will very likely bring treats to share, and make herbal tea using plants that we harvest together.
This month's book is available as a Free PDF. Although the book club is free, we encourage donations that will allow us to keep our garden open. Another way you can support us it to purchase your book at the following link: [Ecological Book Club - Bookshop.org](https://bookshop.org/lists/ecological-book-club)
