Do you want to see the countryside, historic sites and historic towns around southern England with other like minded people?
If your answer is Yes, then this is the group for you!
We organise 19 day trips a year (from March to October and a Christmas market in December), normally on Saturday's by coach for only £32 each!
It's an opportunity to meet other like minded people who are interested in history, the countryside and walks.
Just pay your £32 and that secures your seat on the coach and the opportunity to meet others whilst seeing some of southern England's most historic places!

Come along on Saturday 25th April for a coach trip to the ancient sites of Stonehenge, Avebury and Uffington White Horse!
About the day
We are travelling by coach to visit some of England's oldest & mystical sites, two in Wiltshire and one in Oxfordshire.Stonehenge
Stonehenge started to be built in 3100BC and is today one of the most famous sites in the world. At the site, I will tell you more about Stonehenge and why its there.Options when we arrive at Stonehenge:
- pay to take the mini-bus down the road to view it close up, about 4 metres away (it costs £25 to do this, pay when you arrive). If you are an English Heritage or National Trust member its free to get the mini-bus.
- The rest of us will walk the 1 mile down the road and view it from the wire fence (about 5 or 6 metres away) for free.
Avebury
Avebury is about 20 miles north of Stonehenge, it dates to about 2800BC and is the largest stone circle in Europe. Its free to walk on the site, which covers over 281 acres and you can even touch the stones! I will guide you round the site telling your about the stones. Its free to view the stones.Uffington White Horse
Uffington White Horse is a huge chalk drawing on the top of a hill which dates back to 900BC. It was probably a tribal symbol, as the remains of Uffington Fort lies behind it. The site is the highest point in Oxfordshire and gives stunning views across the countryside. I will tell you more about the site when we are there. Its free to view the horse.Coach seating

Day trip by coach - Two Pretty Towns & Two Neolithic Barrows in Kent! (£33 each)

About the trip
The name 'Kent' is of Celtic origin and dates back to the 4th century BC. It is one of the earliest names recorded in Britain and translates as 'coastal district', 'corner-land'' or 'land on the edge'.The county of Kent has stunning countryside and a pretty coastline. It has been known as the 'Garden of England' for over 400 years due to its long-standing reputation for agricultural excellence, particularly fruit orchards, hop gardens, and wine production.
Addington & Chestnuts Neolithic Long Barrows
Addington & Chestnuts Neolithic Long Barrows are the remains of elongated earth and stone burial mounds constructed around 4000 BC. They belong to a localised regional variant of barrows produced in the vicinity of the River Medway.Today, large sarsens stones remain with each weighing in excess of 15 tonnes each. The barrows was excavated in 1957 and contained traces of the cremated bones of at least nine adults and possibly two children, and artifacts dated to Late Neolithic.
Both the Long Barrows are close to each other.
Lenham
Lenham is a small market town in mid Kent and sits on the River Stour. Its on the edge of the North Downs with a history that goes back over 1500 years. In medieval times, the town would have welcomed pilgrims walking from London to the shrine of St. Thomas at Canterbury cathedral. The small market town of Charing sits nearby to Lenham, also on the Pilgrims Way, with Canterbury cathedral only being one day's walk away. The town made its money from the many watermills on the River Stour and has many period properties.Coach seating

Day trip by coach - Pretty Towns & Steam Trains in Gloucestershire! (£33 each)
Coach bays on Tothill Street (nearest tube: St James's Park), Tothill Street, London, al, GBCome along on Saturday 23rd May to visit two pretty market towns, a picturesque view in Gloucestershire and see some steam trains in action as part of the Cotswolds Festival of Steam!
About the day
Gloucestershire is a historic county to the south west of London, its a predominantly rural area which is bisected by the river River Severn. Part of Gloucestershire sits in the Cotswolds and has lots of honey-coloured pretty towns & villages.Broadway-Cheltenham Train Route
Steam trains will be running along the Broadway-Cheltenham route on this day as part of the Cotswold Festival of Steam weekend. Its very expensive for a ticket - £37 plus per person, so instead we will be viewing the steam trains in action at various vantage points along the track for free.Winchcombe
Winchcombe is a charming, less-crowded market town known for its authentic, medieval honey-coloured stone architecture and its independent shops and cafes. It was originally an Anglo-Saxon settlement, although the Belas Knap Neolithic Long Barrow on Cleeve Hill above Winchcombe, dates from about 3000 BCE.Painswick
Painswick is often regarded as a "hidden gem". Its known for its stunning 18th-century, grey-stone architecture, peaceful atmosphere, and the unique Rococo Garden, it offers a charming, less-crowded alternative to other Gloucestershire towns. It's church; St. Mary's is famous for having 99 Yew trees.Painswick Beacon
Painswick Beacon is a 283-metre (928-foot) high Iron Age hill fort dated 400-100 BC offering 360-degree panoramic views of the Cotswolds, the Severn Vale, the Malvern Hills, and the Welsh Mountains.
The beacon is only 1 mile from the village of Painswick, but we will use the coach to take us to the bottom of the hill, it'll then be a 10 min walk up the hill to see the view.Coach seating
