Set within a sleek, minimalist space highlighted by crisp white décor and a dramatic back-lit onyx bar, Eight4Nine creates a modern yet welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a globally inspired, seasonally driven menu that offers everything from elegant shareable plates to standout mains and creative craft cocktails. Whether you’re a local or visiting the desert, Eight4Nine is a true Palm Springs destination you won’t want to miss.

💰 Deposit Details:
To prevent last-minute cancellations and no-shows, a refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. The deposit will be fully refunded after you attend the event or if you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice.

We accept deposits of either $15 USD or $25 CAD per person to accommodate both domestic attendees and Canadian snowbirds. Please choose one of the following methods:

• $15 USD via Venmo (@kabs86 -- if required when sending, the last four digits of associated phone number are '2027')
• $25 CAD via PayPal (paypal.me/kabs86) or Interac e-Transfer (DM for email)

If your payment username or email is different from your Meetup name, please include your Meetup name in the message/comment field so we can match your deposit to your RSVP.

If you are bringing guests, you may send one combined payment as long as the total amount matches the number of people attending.

Deposits will be fully refunded if the event is cancelled for any reason.

⚠️ Important:

• If your deposit is not received within 24 hours of RSVPing, your RSVP may be changed to "Not Going" until the deposit is received, and someone else may take your spot.
• If you are paying via Interac e-Transfer (CAD only), the 24-hour window starts after I send you the email address via DM. It is your responsibility to request the email via DM immediately after you RSVP. If you fail to request the email for the transfer or if your deposit is not received within 24 hours, your RSVP may also be changed to "Not Going."

✅ How to Join the Event:
1️⃣ RSVP on Meetup by clicking "Attend."
2️⃣ Send your deposit within 24 hours of RSVPing.

💡 Important Notes:

• Deposits will be fully refunded after the event or if you cancel with 48+ hours' notice.
• No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the event will forfeit their deposit.
• If the event is full, join the waitlist. Only send your deposit if you are moved to the "Going" list.
• You are responsible for any fees associated with deposit transactions (both sending and receiving refund); there should be no transaction fees with Venmo or Paypal with no currency conversions. There may be fees associated with Interac e-Transfer depending on your bank account, or with Paypal if you do not have a Canadian bank account and/or Canadian funds.

🚨 Cancellation Policy:

• Cancel with 48+ hours' notice: Full refund of your deposit.
• Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice: No refund.
• No-shows: No refund.

Refunds will be processed within two (2) days of the event via the same payment method used.

ℹ️ Additional Info:
When you arrive, ask for the reservation under Kabir. Everyone will receive separate checks. If the event is full, feel free to join the waitlist — if there’s enough interest, we may be able to increase capacity to eight guests.
