Why Diets (and Even Jabs) Fail Without Behaviour Change
Details
Many people start a diet with good intentions. Others try the latest weight loss medication hoping it will finally solve the problem.
Sometimes it works for a while. But very often, the weight comes back.
This can feel frustrating and confusing. It may even lead people to believe they simply lack willpower.
In reality, the issue is rarely willpower.
Lasting weight loss depends on behaviour change — the daily habits, patterns, and routines that shape how we eat, move, and respond to stress. Without addressing these patterns, even the most effective diet or medication can struggle to produce long-term results.
In this workshop we will explore why behaviour change is the missing piece in most weight loss approaches.
### In this session we will cover
• Why diets often fail in the long term
• What weight loss medications can and cannot change
• The role of habits, routines, and environment
• Why emotional and automatic eating patterns are so powerful
• How sustainable behaviour change actually works
### What you will gain
By the end of the session you will understand why so many weight loss attempts fail — and more importantly, what needs to change for progress to last.
You will leave with a clearer understanding of how to build habits that support long-term health and weight stability.
