What we’re about
## Welcome to Yannick's Coaching Lab!
I’m Yannick, I love coaching, and I created this Lab to give coaches the opportunity to witness highly experienced coaches live at work.
### If you've ever seen a coach in action, you know what a massively valuable learning experience it is.
And that is why I created The Coaching Lab, where you get to be a fly on the wall during a 45-minute live coaching session, talk to the coach & client about their experience, and practise your own skills as part of an intimate and friendly community.
Over the years, The Coaching Lab has become a valuable asset in the lives of many coaches. Both beginners and seasoned practitioners alike tell us how much they love the opportunity to take a look inside the minds of other coaches. It’s enlightening and revealing to hear coaches reflect on the ‘what, why & how’ of their coaching approach, and to see a range of different styles in action.
If you’ve ever felt that life can be lonely as a coach, or you want to learn new techniques, or try out a new modality or way of being before using them with paying clients, then The Coaching Lab was made for you.
I hope to see you at one of our next events!

PS: It all started here on MeetUp in 2020, but the Lab has a dedicated home now and a growing membership base. You can learn more about the Lab, and become a member, at [www.GoCoachingLab.com](https://gocoachinglab.com/)
PPS: Most attendees are either members of the Lab or buy tickets via Eventbrite, so if it feels quiet here on MeetUp, that's why. Rest assured there'll be a crowd and plenty of great atmosphere.
PPPS: Non-coaches, curious about what's going on under the hood or keen to experience a coaching session, are more than welcome!
PPPPS: If you would like to get some free coaching in the Lab, and you wouldn't mind an (invisible) audience, you can apply to be a client for one of our invited coaches here.

Yannick's Coaching Lab: Jungian Coaching with Dr. Avi Goren-Bar
·OnlineOnlineWELCOME TO YANNICK'S COACHING LAB!
Be a fly on the wall for a live 45min coaching demo, followed by a debrief, Q&A and conversations with the coach and client, and a chance to practice and experiment in triads in breakout rooms afterwards. You'll get to learn from interesting and experienced practitioners, connect with other coaches and generally have some fun and experiment in a safe and confidential environment.
FEATURED COACH
This month we celebrate Jungian Coaching with the author of "An Introduction to Jungian Coaching" and founder of the Jungian Coaching School, Dr. Avi Goren-Bar. I met Avi for our podcast on Jungian Coaching and loved his energy, and when one of my Cambridge students kept referencing his books in a recent assignment, I felt called to invite him into our Lab, so I am delighted that he agreed to join us to demo his approach to "Bridging the unconscious and the everyday - through symbols, creativity, and depth."
BIO & APPROACH
Dr. Avi Goren-Bar, PCC, PhD is a distinguished psychologist, educator and coach. With more than four decades of clinical, academic, and organizational experience, Avi is internationally recognized for developing the Jungian Coaching Method and founding the Jungian Coaching School International, a global training institution, accredited by International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Avi’s approach weaves together Jungian depth psychology, Gestalt principles, creative arts methodologies, and symbolic thinking to create profound pathways for personal and professional transformation. His work is widely used in leadership development, team diagnostics, and organizational intervention, helping individuals and groups access deeper layers of meaning, purpose, and potential.
He has authored multiple influential books, including An Introduction to Jungian Coaching (Routledge, 2021), The Secrets of Expressive Arts Therapy and Coaching (Amazon, 2018), and Clinical Expressive Arts Therapy in Theory and Practice (Cambridge Publishing 2019). Avi teaches, lectures, and conducts workshops worldwide, offering coaches and leaders a powerful doorway into the unconscious through imagery, archetypes, and creative exploration.

About Jungian Coaching:
Jungian Coaching is a transformational methodology that draws on C.G. Jung’s psychology of archetypes, symbols, complexes, and the unconscious. Rather than focusing only on goals or performance, Jungian Coaching helps clients understand the deeper forces shaping their choices, relationships, and leadership. Using the Jungian Coaching Kit, developed by Dr. Avi Goren-Bar, the method brings unconscious patterns to light and empowers clients to engage their inner resources, creativity, and purpose. It is a powerful approach for coaches who seek to work at depth and facilitate lasting change.
