What we're about
Welcome to Yannick's Coaching Lab!
Please put your lab coats on and join us every 1st Tuesday of the month to observe a live coaching demonstration, discuss it afterwards together with the coach and client, and then experiment and grow as we breakout into triads.
Following a decade of training, coaching and supervision experience, "Yannick's Coaching Lab" was born from the feedback that we often get from training weekends and coaching events. Beginners as well as seasoned coaches tend to tell us that the most valuable part of the learning came from observing the fishbowls, from practicing with each other and the reflective discussions amongst the group. And since it's difficult to find quality coaching on YouTube, and live training events are usually quite expensive, we decided to create an event dedicated to all the best bits and for an affordable price.
We want to bring people together who are committed to their learning, growth and who love to talk about coaching. If you're a coach who likes to experiment with something new and explore how other people are coaching, you're at the right address!
In Yannick's Coaching Lab you will witness a 45-minute coaching session, afterwards we'll debrief and discuss as a group for 30min and you'll get to ask the coach questions about why chose certain interventions, why they asked particular questions or stayed silent during a critical moment, followed by a chance to practice in triads (coach, practice client and an observer) as to hone your skills and receive some feedback on your coaching (or indeed some free coaching for yourself).
Here's a video invitation by your host, Yannick Jacob, Positive Existential Coach, Supervisor, Trainer and former Programme Leader of the MSc Coaching Psychology at the University of East London: https://youtu.be/3obaA9HFWSw
See you at the next Lab :)
PS: Since the pandemic has hit just as we were scheduled to launch, all our Coaching Labs have been virtual with great success.
PPS: Many coaches get their tickets via Eventbrite, so rest assured there'll be a crowd
PPPS: Non-coaches, curious about what's going on under the hood or keen to experience a coaching session, are more than welcome!
