Connect with other local hand drummers interested in playing in drum circles with a variety of drum rhythms and styles. Drumming experience is not required. This group welcomes all and we encourage sharing and mutual respect.

Here's the first group we drum with. They usually can be found at the Round House or the Riverview Shelter.
People start congregating especially if it's dry around 6pm. Drumming slowly gets going, 7pm is when it gets more focused.
People bring food, drinks, beer and other party things. There may be some drums to share but not always.
This is an unfacilitated group. You can join their facebook page: Rochester Drumcircle Ny. It's a private group - sign up and say you know Pam.
Signing up will help know exactly where they are. The location is not always the same since we use one that is not being used by others.

Here's the 2nd group we drum with. They use the parking lot closest to the Vietnam Memorial near Mary Cariola on south ave.
They usually start around 6 or 6:30
This is a sober drumming group. Bring your own chairs, drums or percussion. There may be some drums to share but not always.
This is a somewhat facilitated group. You can join their facebook page: Flower City Drum circle. It's a public group.
Signing up will help know if they plan to be drumming every Thursday.
