Who CfA Wants
The average fellow in the 2013 class (http://codeforamerica.org/2013-fellows) is 30-years-old with some previous work experience and an interest in helping communities. Code for America is committed to a diverse fellowship class. Minorities and women are encouraged to apply. While CfA cannot sponsor work visas for international applicants, non-US citizens with the necessary paperwork are welcome to apply.
Program Timeline
If you’re chosen, you’ll need to be available full-time in the San Francisco Bay Area starting in January 2014 through November 2014. Check out the complete timeline (http://codeforamerica.org/fellows/program-and-timeline/) for more details.
