A note about the location:
Hub CityView (not to be confused with Sears Center) is located at 30 South 17th St, between Market and Chestnut, on the 14th floor of United Plaza. Guests have to check in at the security desk on the ground floor - just let them know you are going to the Hub and they will give you a slip.
Join us at our weekly workshop to learn about technology, sharpen your skills, and help Philly at the same time! There are ample opportunities for people with any skill set and experience level to have an impact. If this is your first Code for Philly, try to arrive on the early side to join our group orientation for new members at 6:30. If you can't make it until later that's fine too, just let the first person you run into know it's your first time at Code for Philly and they'll direct you to one of our organizers.

• Do I need to be a coder?
No! We welcome civic hackers of all varieties.
• Do I need to have a lot of experience before helping a project?
Nope, just be willing to start out helping a project with something easy but maybe less glamorous.
• Do I need to bring my own laptop?
Yes, unfortunately we are not able to provide computers, and opportunities to participate without one are limited.
