# curiosities demo night
do you have a personal interest that you rarely get to share about? this is your chance!
in this curiosities demo night, we will gather to hold short presentations on whatever we personally like to talk about. it will be a chance to invite others into your personal realm of interest, to explore topics you might not even know existed, and to connect around the things we love.

when? thursday sept 26th, 19:00-21:00 (doors open 18.30)
where? code chrysalis, motoazabu
who? everyone is welcome!
cost? free
language? english & japanese (but you only need to know 1)
refreshments? we will serve drinks and light snacks
## ⚙️ how it works
- anyone can show up with a 3-5min presentation on a topic of interest that they want to share
- we will take turns presenting our topics, each time followed by a conversation among the audience.
- this event is bilingual, but participants only need to know english or japanese. if you want, this will be a good chance to practice your language skills in a supportive space. it will be possible to present either in japanese, or english.
- it is okay to attend the event just to listen to other presentations.

## 🚶♀️ how to attend
if you are not planning on presenting anything at the event, all you need to do is sign up here and show up at the venue on time.
however; we highly encourage you to present about something you care about! there is no need to be an expert on your topic - we all have our individual curiosities, and this is where we want to celebrate those by allowing everyone to share them with others.
if you want to present something at the event, the steps are as follows:

- come up with a topic to present on (more info on choosing topics is in the form linked below)

- prepare your presentation (more info about how in the form above)
## ⚠️ if you can’t attend
we kindly ask you to cancel your rsvp if you decide not to attend. this helps us know the number of participants and opens up the spot for others who want to join the event.

この「キュリオシティ Demo Night」では、みんなが自分の好きなテーマについて短いプレゼンテーションを行います。他の人に自分が情熱を持っていることについて伝えたり、知らなかったトピックに触れたり、共通の関心事を通じて交流を深める機会になるでしょう。

言語: 英語 & 日本語（どちらか1つだけでもOKです）

## ⚙️ イベントについて
- あなたの関心のあるテーマについて3〜5分間のプレゼンテーションを行うことができます。
- プレゼンテーションのあとはQAセッションがあります。
- このイベントはバイリンガルですが、英語または日本語のどちらか一方がわかれば十分です。言語スキルを練習したい方も歓迎です。プレゼンテーションは日本語でも英語でも可能です。
- 他のプレゼンテーションを聞くだけの参加もOKです。

プレゼンテーションを行う予定がない方は、こちらからサインアップして当日時間通りに会場にお越しください。
ただし、よければぜひ何かについて発表してみてください！自分のテーマについて専門家である必要はありません。私たちそれぞれが持っている興味をお互いに共有し、楽しむ場です。
