Machine Learning algorithms inspired by nature

Details
Join us for our October co-hosted in-person and hybrid Codecinella/Women In Tech event in the First Floor Conference Room at the library in downtown Madison or online via Zoom.
Description: A high level talk about ML algorithms inspired by behaviors observed in nature. This is an intro-level session to give you a taste of what algorithms are out there with some real world examples and use cases where these algorithms have been used and implemented. The main goal of this sampler-level talk is to pique your interest in one or more of these algorithms with details about how they work and how they have been used IRL (in real life). At the very least, you will gain new insights into how Machine Learning has evolved.
Bio: Naveen VK, Technical Director at nvisia, has over 23 years of professional experience building software in Java, .NET and JavaScript stacks both on-prem and on the cloud. She loves to share her technical knowledge and experience through talks at various conferences and meetups.
