How to Contribute to Large Open Source Projects | Workshop

In this session, one of our long time community members M Zubair Ahmed will walk you through the process of contributing to large scale open source projects. Zubair actively contributes to Mattermost, which is an open source team collaboration platform that competes with Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord.

Zubair started his journey as a Mechanical Engineer, and pivoted to teaching himself Android Development. He then learnt about the React ecosystem and was strongly attracted to modern web development. He then taught himself frontend and backend development, and worked at multiple companies, moving from junior to senior roles.
