We're kicking off the new year with a React.js themed month featuring two world-class engineers sharing phenomenal insights on how to optimise your applications (better than your LLMs can).
Talk 1: Reactive State in React with Preact Signals — Bruno Kiafuka
Signals give you fine-grained reactivity: values update, and only the code that actually depends on them reacts. Bruno will introduce Preact Signals, show how they plug into React, and walk through a small example contrasting useState/derived state with signals—plus do's and don'ts for effects, computed values, and incremental adoption.
Talk 2: Optimising Large-Scale Rendering Performance — Evan Burbidge
Evan will deep dive into the methods he implemented to debug and improve the rendering performance of HubSpot forms at scale.
