Coffee & Conversation-let’s meet

This is a group for women in their 40s and 50s in Winnipeg who would like to meet other women, expand their social circle and hopefully develop genuine friendships.

Making new friends as an adult isn’t always easy. Sometimes you simply need a few people you can text and say, “Anyone want to grab a coffee?” or “Who’s free for lunch this weekend?”

That’s what I’d like this group to become.

We don’t need an elaborate activity every time we get together. Some meetups might simply be coffee and conversation, brunch, a casual dinner, a walk or sitting on a patio. Other times we might decide to try something new, attend a festival, see a show or plan a girls’ night.

Members are also encouraged to suggest casual get-togethers themselves.

Whether you’re single, married, divorced, have grown children, are new to Winnipeg or have lived here for years, you’re welcome.

The goal isn’t to fill our calendars with events. It’s to create a community where women around the same stage of life can meet, talk, laugh, support one another and hopefully develop friendships that continue outside of Meetup.
