About us
Welcome to the Coffee Shop Sketchers Creative Community Circle. This group is a low-pressure space for anyone who enjoys sketching, whether you have been drawing for years or are just picking up a pencil for the first time. We meet regularly at local cafes to grab a coffee, find a comfortable table, and spend an hour or two sketching in our notebooks. It is a quiet, meditative way to spend a morning or afternoon, and it is a great way to practice your skills while enjoying the ambient buzz of a neighborhood shop.
There are no critiques here and no requirements for what you draw. Some of us focus on urban sketching and capturing the room around us, while others prefer to work on personal projects or character designs. The goal is simply to get out of the house, share some good company, and dedicate some time to our creative practice. If you are looking for a friendly, steady group of people to sketch with, we would love to have you join us at our next gathering.
