The aim is to open an honest conversation about masculinity and the body: how we learn to inhabit it, what we ask it to prove, and what happens when strength, discipline or “taking care of yourself” quietly start to become something else.
It is a space to:

  • look at how modern masculinity shapes the relationship with the body;
  • explore when something healthy stops being healthy;
  • question what looks like health, discipline or self-care but isn’t — and understand why;
  • make visible a kind of body-related suffering many men live in silence;
  • share and listen without judgment, in a safe space;
  • be challenged: think, debate, question our own certainties;
  • leave with better questions, more words, and a little less loneliness.

A stimulating gathering rather than an informative one: uncomfortable in the good way, and also healing.
What people can take away:

  • more self-reflection: your own questions, not borrowed answers;
  • more understanding of what happens inside you —and inside others— without judging it;
  • more awareness of the messages we have internalised about the body, strength and self-worth;
  • the clarity to not get caught in today’s traps: fitness culture, internet bodies, constant optimisation, extreme-discipline narratives, and everything sold as “health” that works as control;
  • words to name what didn’t have a name before;
  • the feeling of not being alone in this.
