Coffee in the park + Fossil Grove Open Day @ Victoria Park ☕🏞️🦖

Let's go to Victoria Park on Sunday, embrace the fresh air, have a coffee and take a wander around the park. From 12pm, we'll head to Fossil Grove within Victoria Park where there is an open day showcasing, according to their website, "A unique earth heritage site with eleven fossil tree stumps from the Carboniferous Period. They are about 330 million years old, and are preserved where they grew."

Afterwards, we can decide if we want to go for a walk towards the Partick area or not.

Meeting point: Park Cafe in Victoria Park
Meeting time: 11am
Meetup (in brief): Meet up for coffee, wander around the park and then we'll head to Fossil Grove for their open afternoon from 12pm. A walk towards Partick afterwards may happen afterwards.

• This meetup is weather dependent so please come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear.
• Running late? Let the meetup host know ASAP.
• Plans changed? Please change your RSVP ASAP to allow others a chance to join us. You can change your RSVP to "not going" without further explanation until 11:59pm on the day before the meetup.
• If you need to cancel on the day/at the last minute due to an unforeseeable reason, please send a quick DM to the meetup host ASAP.
• You will be marked as a "no show" if: you don't turn up + don't change your RSVP OR change your RSVP on the day of the meetup without any explanation OR your reason for the last minute RSVP change is deemed foreseeable (e.g. forgot about the meetup, no longer interested, meetup time unsuitable for yourself, choosing other pre-arranged plans instead, etc.)
