📝 MEETUP DETAILS

• 📅⌚Date and time: Sunday 16/08/2026, 11:00 - 15:00
• 📍Location: Glasgow Central Station
• 📃 The plan: Meet at Glasgow Central where we'll get the 11:16 train to Balloch. Once in Balloch we'll take a short stroll to Ben Lomond Way where the Loch Lomond Shores markets are to witness and sample the coffee, artisan and street food, handmade gifts and more on offer. Then, if the weather is good enough, take a walk in the nearby Balloch Country Park and rounding off the meetup in a nearby pub for lunch.
• 🤔 What else? More info about the markets can be found here. Please note the Subway will be closed on the 16th of August due to essential maintenance so please bear this in mind when travelling to Glasgow Central.

• ❕Plans changed? Change your RSVP by 11:59pm on Saturday 15/08/2026.
• ❕Need to cancel on the day due to an unforeseen reason? Send a quick DM to the meetup host ASAP. We appreciate clear, honest communication not flaking or ghosting. No cancellation DM? You could be marked as a "no show" (see no show rule below).
• ❕Running late? DM the meetup host ASAP
• ❕All Coffee Connections group rules can be found in the "About Us" section on our main page.

⚠️ MEETUP RULES: NO SHOW RULE⚠️

You will be marked as a "no show" if:

• ❌ You don't attend AND do not change your RSVP to not going before 11:59pm on Saturday 15/08/2026.
• ❌ You change your RSVP on the day WITHOUT the on the day cancellation DM to the meetup host.
• ❌ Your reason for that on the day cancellation is deemed foreseeable. For example: Simply no longer interested, forgot about the meetup, choosing alternative plans, etc.
• ❗ Remember: 3 no shows in a 12 month period = can lead to being permanently removed from Coffee Connections.
• ❕ Avoid being a no show by following the rules above and we'll greatly appreciate this! 😊
