About us
This group is for people interested in online discussions about cognitive science. These discussions are opportunities to meet people who are interested in cognitive science and to playfully and respectfully discuss cognitive science ideas, research, applications, career options and news. The purpose of these discussions is to learn cognitive science, facilitate personal growth, cultivate community, and to have fun.
Our discussions are quite informal. If there are specific topics related to cognitive science you would like to talk about, feel free to come talk to us about them. Topics we've talked about regularly in the past include: artificial intelligence, behavioral neuroscience, theoretical neuroscience, consciousness, meditation, psychedelic assisted therapy, cognitive biases, emotions, personhood, personality disorders, decision-making, and learning, among others.
