    Hi Guys,

I'm having a January sale on Mining Hardware. Last stock remaining.

Ant Miners (180GH/s) now going for £2000 or 3.8 BTC

Collection or Delivery available, based in London. Seller of over 250 pieces of Crypto Hardware.

    2 · January 19, 2014

    • John D.

I agree trust in BL is low but you'd never make your money back on your mining machine at £2K. Even if we held a steady increase of hash rate, it'd take 90 days to make your money back. Reality is though as soon as the bulk of KNC and Cointerra come online that's blown right out the window. People should at least expect to make their money back on the mining equipment. Maybe sell them on ebay with a reserve of £600 a machine. There aren't enough mining machines around so you'd get a premium for them for sure but I don't think £2K. I will buy 3 of them from you for £2K though. I could realistically expect to make my money back in 45-60 days then maybe make another £2k for the next 90 days after that. Not going to make me rich but would get me used to using mining equipment.

      1 · January 20, 2014

    • Michael A.

They are £2k each, its not a negotiable price :) but i'll give 10% discount if you buy 3. you'll probably ROI at this price after some time, but the main profit is in the long game... hoping the price of bitcoin increases... i bought an un-ROI'able machine when BTC was £60... that turned out pretty well in the end. Also bear in mind you can mine alt-coins... and pool-hop... this can turn out to be a lot better

Thanks for the link. It was very interesting indeed as a forward thinking piece on the future of Bitcoin, if it goes well. Apart from the slow intro and the constant hype (with very little discussion of the risks or reasons why it might not succeed,) there were some very interesting nuggets of information in there that I hadn't heard of before. Very persuasive. This guy may not make it rich on Bitcoin, but he probably will selling his guide!

The meetup was awesome! Well done Alex & Iain et al for putting together an exciting and informative event for all of us. I'm looking forward to more. Here's some news just out by Wedbush Securities on Wall Street:

Bitcoin Price Could Reach $98,500, Say Wall Street Analysts - http://bit.ly/18BA5qe

Quote...The key to Bitcoin's success so far, and significant promise going forward, is in crowd-funding the development of the first new global payment network in decades, the analysts explain.

So, if any of you guys want to acquire Bitcrowdfund.com up for sale, now is a good time to develop a leading bitcoin crowdfunding utility. I would develop this myself, but already have two bitcoin startup projects on my roadmap. If you need advise how to swiftly launch Bitcrowdfund.com with a killer Saas to get to market rapidly, I can help there too!

That's just another way of banks saying they don't want to use bitcoins because they know it leads to their destruction. The banks just got their puppet government to say it for them. 'Poor banks can't deal with bitcoin because of nasty government'. Nobody needs banks of the old world with bitcoin. Just banks that actually provide real services - like 'realistic loans' from their 'cash saving' investors.

      1 · December 5, 2013

    • Daniel F.

Very interesting. It's sad for the unfortunate users but interesting in how the funds are constantly in circulation. They have yet to be claimed and this is an interesting example of how Bitcoin is anonymity is useful. Someone has stolen or rather has access to the coins, but they cannot use them yet. if they claim them or try to exchange them for cash, they should be spotted somewhere. If people take the proper precautions, EBOOK101 will hopefully get caught.

Great atmosphere at the expo and good speakers. Met Cody Wilson and he asked to go for a beer later which is great, and had a nice conversation with the CEO of blockchain.info - I feel like the expo was put together in a hurry, and very unorganised. VIP was certainly not worth £90, I essentially payed that amount of fiat currency for a lanyard with Bitcoin Expo 2013 VIP written on it. Didn't get my meal ticket, didn't get my £15 worth of BTC which I don't expect to get back, or any of the money I spent on the ticket.

The event was good, i got some great information about bitcoin and the future of it. Somewhat catapulting myself into unchartered territory here. I head up a new startup in the forex/trade efficiency space. Mission - to remove barriers to global trade. Our first product is like business dating for forex removing fees, complexities and barriers to accessing global capital markets: For anyone, from anywhere to anywhere!! There are many solutions for business. Pooling would help but for individuals with smaller amounts, they are not currently obligated. I think a solution now will help protect those people later on especially if regulation comes in at a time when people are looking to cash out on their investment. The vouchers idea is a good idea and may be worth exploring. There are different solutions and there are different ways BTC is used. maybe some feedback on how it is used and who is exposed where. Such as a day trader will see a different problem to someone ageing BTC and trying to cash out later.
