Details

We're happy to announce another session of the Online ColdFusion Meetup to be held Thursday Sep 24th at 12pm US Eastern Time, UTC-4.

As with last week, this session will be held via a Youtube livestream (and streamed to it via Streamyard):

Meeting URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHYL_RbOjSo

TOPIC DESCRIPTION: (provided by the speaker)

Learn how you can use free Docker technology with ColdFusion to keep development environments for different clients or projects separate from one another. No more managing conflicting settings between projects or applications. You can instantly set up other developers with a perfectly configured development environment. You can also archive environment configurations for apps you may need later.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: (provided by the speaker)

Dan is a long-time software engineer who transitioned to engineering leadership. He’s managed teams of all sizes and across many verticals. His passion is enabling teams and individual engineers to be successful by giving them the tools and freedom to innovate and removing unnecessary friction that gets in the way of their objectives. He’s spoken at CF Objective and NCDevCon multiple times on software techniques.

RECORDINGS:

All meetings are recorded. The URL will be posted after meeting at https://recordings.coldfusionmeetup.com. In addition to those Adobe Connect streaming recording posted immediately after the meeting, we also post recordings at Youtube usually within a day of the meeting.

WANT TO PRESENT?

We welcome and indeed seek presentations from anyone wishing to speak about any projects regarding or tangentially related to CF. For more, see https://speak.coldfusionmeetup.com.
