We get it. Developer life can feel like a nonstop loop of bugs, documentation, blog posts, and repeating the same things in five different tools. But imagine having a helpful junior dev who never sleeps, doesn’t complain, and actually likes writing boilerplate code.

Contrary to what some “thought leaders” on LinkedIn might be shouting about, developers aren't going anywhere. In fact, you're more valuable than ever—especially when you stop wasting cycles on stuff a robot can do. This session isn’t about replacing developers with AI. It’s about giving you actual superpowers so you can stop context-switching every ten minutes and start focusing on what matters: building great products.

Yes, there are a million AI engines, tools, and IDE integrations we could talk about. But we’ve got one hour, so we’re going to hit the stuff that actually matters to real developers. If we have time, we’ll look at Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, and JetBrains AI, and how they fit (or don’t) into your daily workflow.

Whether you’re working solo or buried in a team Slack channel, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can actually use. No hand-wavy hype, just tools and tactics you can plug into your existing stack.

Dan Wilson has deep experience building and growing developer-focused products and services. He got his first taste of fast-moving, cutting-edge tech at a startup in 1999 and spent the next 15 years writing software and bringing products to life.

After hanging up his semicolon spurs, Dan transitioned into product marketing, where he now helps developer tools thrive in competitive markets and coaching on AI. A longtime contributor to open source projects and an active speaker at developer conferences around the world, Dan also spent a decade running his own successful consulting practice.

Outside of work, you’ll find him cheering at his kids' athletic events, or helping local small businesses grow.
