Have you heard about BoxLang yet? It's both a new language and runtime, it's also a new way to run your CFML applications--as an alternative to Adobe CF or Lucee. As you contemplate this new possibility, naturally you'll have questions about CFML compatibility, configuration, licensing, deployment options, and more.
In this session (presented initially at Into the Box 2026), veteran troubleshooter Charlie Arehart will walk through these fundamental matters and more, related to getting you started in running your CFML apps on BoxLang, including using its compatibility analysis tool and even online tools to test code without installing anything. As always, Charlie will offer ample resources for ongoing help and assistance. (To be clear this talk is NOT about *converting your CFML to the BoxLang language*, which is a compelling but separate topic worthy of its own talk. This is about running your EXISTING CFML code on BoxLang.)
