Tarot is well known as a powerful tool for divination, but this function pales next to its real value as a compendium of universal wisdom which reveals the unknown in the world and, more importantly, in ourselves. Join us as we learn the techniques of reading this centuries-old book and begin to decipher the symbolism of its 78 pages which veil mysteries of qabalah, astrology, psychology, initiation, alchemy, magick, and more.

Our studies will be both theoretical and practical in scope. For the fullest benefit, students are urged to acquire a Thoth Tarot deck in order to be able to work with the cards on their own between meetings.

This class series is taught by Zeph Bender, who has been a student of Thelema and the Western Mystery Tradition since joining Builders of the Adytum in 1989, and has been an initiate of Temple of Thelema since 1997. He regularly teaches occult science to students in both private and public settings, endeavoring always to reveal the real world implications of even the most arcane subjects. Please join us!

This rite is the second in an annual triad of rites celebrating the Mother, Father & Child Archetypes. It is a beautiful public ritual performance in the style of the Western Mysteries, giving you an opportunity to take a closer look at the Temple of Thelema, a Mystery School for the New Aeon.

There will be refreshment and snacks following the ritual. Come join us and meet fellow members of LA's local Temple. The event will take place on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 and the arrival time is scheduled for 2:30PM with the ritual starting at 3PM. The whole event (ritual and refreshments) should run a couple of hours or so.
