Kubernetes is the leading way to run and manage your containerized workloads across any cloud or on-premises environment. It provides an automated, reliable way to execute the services, deployments, etc. that make up your application.

But what happens when running those doesn’t go as you’d expect, or the system isn’t happy with what you’re trying to get to run? How do you figure out what’s going wrong, track down the root causes, figure out a solution, and get things working again?

Join Brent Laster, a global trainer, author, and DevOps director, to discover how to respond to the most common problem situations you may encounter with Kubernetes pods. In particular, we'll cover:

- What to do when your container crashes or fails
- Using the exec command to "connect" into a container
- Using the new Kubernetes debug command
- Adding a debugging pod to your pod
- Starting your container with a different command
- Using the set-image command to change the image running in your pod

What we're about

The past few years have seen a rapid evolution of technologies that are collectively known as cloud native.

The shift to cloud native technology has changed the way software development is done today, leading to the adoption of DevOps practices and other new strategies of delivering software. Cloud native is a way to increase velocity and is a method to structure your teams to take advantage of the scalability that cloud native technologies like Kubernetes offer.

Kubernetes has won the war when it comes to running and managing containerized workloads. It is essentially the operating system for containers.

All are welcomed and encouraged to join, whether you are a newbie or seasoned veteran.
