Introduction to Quantum Computing: Workshop 4

Details
Workshop 4: Introduction to Quantum Computing
Date: 3/24/24 1:30-3:30pm
Location: Boulder Public Library-Main Building,
** We will be in the Eldorado Room this time, it is on the main floor **
The room has limited space, please only RSVP if you plan to attend.
Quantum computing will lead to breakthroughs in many areas of computational discovery and optimization.
This workshop is a continuation of the series to give you hands-on experience coding and understanding quantum algorithms and build your skills for the future.
Attendees will need:
-Computer with Win10 or Linux, running jupyter notebooks and python.
-Have qiskit installed.
-Some familiarity with programming
-Interest in Quantum Computing
Overview:
We will be digging into a few light examples of use cases for Quantum computing.
The aim will be to gather data, input into a circuit then retrieve the processed results and format for display.
As usual we will step through the code to see what actions the system is taking to provide a better understanding of the different processes.
We will also test with some interference settings to get a good idea on what to expect from current processors.
