Iron Chest (Buena Vista)

Note: We will be in Salida for the weekend so I will also be posting an easier trail for the day before, Sat 19 Jul (If you have a request, please let me know).

Trail also includes a long rock garden early on and a long shelf road at the end. Very pretty at the top and you can explore the abandoned mining buildings when we have lunch.

To accommodate those that may stay the weekend in Salida and those that may stay in Buena Vista, we will meet in St Elmo towards the west end of town (general store is at east end). Please make sure you get gas before meeting us. Highly recommended bringing lunch, water, drinks, etc as we will have lunch at the end of the trail We will air down in St Elmo.

Must have decent clearance and lockers would be helpful. Please make sure your profile is up to date with capabilities and specs.
