Spring Creek (up) and Saxon Mtn (down)

I won't be able to make/lead this one but I'm posting for Margie.

Recommended rig requirements: 35” tires with front and rear lockers. Spring Creek is an advanced (difficult) trail http://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/465-spring-creek while Saxon Mtn is more intermediate http://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/449-saxon-mountain .

Meet at 9:00AM at the Safeway in Idaho Springs, then head to the trailhead in Dumont, about 10mins away. The plan is to drive up Spring Creek (USFS 712.2J) and then over to Saxon Mtn road and down to Georgetown. Spring Creek is an advanced, continuously difficult trail littered with boulders and a couple of named obstacles. Saxon Mtn road is an intermediate trail with some difficult sections and steep exposure. Please make sure your rig and driving skills are up for this run, lockers and 35" tires recommended.

Make SURE to check Meetup prior to the ride in case anything changes due to weather, location or other factors. Along with your good attitude, bring lunch, water, tools, etc. and a rig in working condition. This is a no drop run, the group will stay together, barring exceptions. If you sign up, but cannot attend, PLEASE make sure to change your RSVP prior to the event so others can participate and we aren't waiting for you.
