Final Touches - Mulching - Water Challenge Continues

If you can come this Saturday it will be a great help. All the plants have their signs. What's needed now is weeding, trimming and spreading the rest of the mulch.

We still have a huge challenge with watering. There was a break in the main line that brought water to the garden area and it's shut off because it would flood the Mary Rippon theater if left on. It will be probably mid-June or more before the main line is fixed.

We will use hoses to bring water from the Theatre Building to the north end of the garden. The rest of the garden we water by hand. Think Watering Bucket Brigade. The more hands the less work.
On Saturday morning at 9:00, BRING WATERING CAN (large juice bottle... be inventive).
Always:
Bring water (and your morning coffee or tea if you like).
Wear shoes that protect toes, and bring gloves if you like to use them.
If you have hand tools or a preferred shovel bring; we also have a few.
