Summer Schedule! Starting at 9:00 Come Keep the Gardens Beautiful

Details
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival plays are opening, and our gardens are ready for the playgoers to explore. Thanks to everyone who helped prepare the soil, plant both new and wintered-over plants, and place the signs.
We are on the Summer Schedule due to the heat: we gather at 9:00. The tasks are weeding, trimming - keeping each garden beautiful to view.
We still have a challenge with watering. There was a break in the main line that brought water to the garden area and it's shut off because it would flood the Mary Rippon theater if left on. It will be probably mid-June or more before the main line is fixed.
We are using a very long hose to bring water from the Theatre Building all the way to the Midsummer Night's Dream garden. The bucket brigade still works for helping water from the long hose. If that interests you, BRING A WATERING CAN (large juice bottle... be inventive).
Always:
Bring water (and your morning coffee or tea if you like).
Wear shoes that protect toes, and bring gloves if you like to use them.
If you have hand tools or a preferred shovel bring; we also have a few.
