Hike Palmer Loop (Section 16)

It is rated as moderate but is harder than our previous hikes. The distance is 6.5 miles, and the elevation gain is 1,302 ft. Bring poles and/or spikes as it's likely to be muddy/slushy/icy in places, especially the 1/4 mile of dirt road near the end.

Meet us at Bear Creek Nature Center to carpool to the trailhead since there is limited parking there. Afterwards if anyone wants to, we can go to South Park Brewing for drinks and food.
