Wednesday Morning Ride

Details
Newcomers are always welcomed for the first ride without paying CSCC membership dues. You will be asked to join if you show up for a second ride. You can join the CSCC at https://bikesprings.org/join-us
ROUTE: Northwest Two Fingers
This week's 21-mile ride follows a hilly route to the northwest with 1450 feet of elevation change. The route departs along the Greenway and Sinton Trails to reach Centennial Dr. We'll ride through two Rockrimmon neighborhoods before returning via Ute Valley Trail and Pikes Peak Greenway. There is one challenging hill on Oak Valley Dr. and other lesser grades throughout. The RideWithGPS route is as follows:

The Wednesday Morning Ride is an intermediate (10-14 mph), no-drop ride with catch-up points along the route. There may be a planned rest stop along the route, but we will have a “sweep” and will regroup as necessary to ensure no rider is left behind. The ride leader will publish a Ride with GPS link to the route the weekend before the ride with a start location. You can download a free version of the app from your phones app store.
We will ride 18-30 miles depending on weather and road conditions. Unless noted, we will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Centennial exit and ride in different directions each week.
Please arrive early enough to check your bikes ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.
If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the ride leader and others know you will be there.
NOTE: With uncertain weather patterns, this ride may become a “show-n-go”. The leader will update the Meetup event as soon as possible. The group that does show agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.

Every week on Wednesday until December 30, 2025
