Wednesday Morning Ride - Winter Season

THE DECEMBER 27, 2023 WMR IS CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER AND LEADER AVAILABILITY.

The Wednesday Morning Winter Ride is a no-drop social ride with catch-up points along the route. We typically ride at an intermediate pace (avg. 12-14 mph) with a “sweep" to insure no rider is left behind. Each week, the leader will publish a route on the Sunday before the ride.

For the winter season, we'll ride 15-25 miles depending on weather and road conditions, with a potential stop for food or coffee along the way.
We will leave from Legacy Plaza off the I-25 and Fontanero exit, and ride in different directions each week. Please arrive early enough to check your bike’s ABC’s (air, brakes, chain) so we can roll out on time. It is your responsibility to dress appropriately for the weather and to bring your own food, water, spare tube, tire repair kit, etc. Helmets must be worn whenever you are riding the bike.

If you plan to ride, please RSVP to let the leader and others know you will be there. Newcomers are always welcomed for the first ride without paying CSCC membership dues. You can join the CSCC at https://bikesprings.org/join-us.

NOTE: With the uncertain weather pattern of the season, this ride may become a "show-n-go". The leader will update the Meetup Event. The group that shows then agrees where to go together. Be prepared with a sign-in sheet. Instructions for where to send it after the ride are at the bottom of the first page.
