March to Abolish Animal Testing (MAAT)

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Would anyone like to join me for the culmination of the march in New York? The march is actually Sept 12th to the 26th (200 miles in 14 days), but I will be there for the last two days. It is critical that we have a massive turnout. The publicity of such a turnout helped to get over 2000 beagles rescued from the Ridglan Farms breeding facility (for animal testing) in Wisconsin. The state identified hundreds of animal cruelty violations.
We are now targeting Marshall BioResources which is 10 times larger than Ridglan!
The Goals:
End federal funding for animal experimentation. Advocate for reduced taxpayer funding of animal experiments and major investment in modern, human-relevant methods.
Ban the use of dogs in experimentation. Then other animals also.
Increase transparency and accountability.
Shut down major breeding facilities.
