House of Worship Visit: Buddhist Sangha

In an effort to learn from other faiths, many of us have expressed the desire to visit houses of worship together in order to experience it for ourselves and ask questions. This is our third arranged visit as a group. Keep an eye out for more visits like this!

Although this is technically not a "house of worship", it is a visit to a Buddhist Sangha! Seth Josephson PhD, instructor of religion at Otterbein University and co-founder of Mud Lotus Sangha, will lead a short 30-minute service (including meditation), followed by an introduction to the practice and philosophy of Buddhism.

Come with questions! No special dress is required. Visitors may want to dress comfortably to sit on the floor (chairs are also available). Shoes are taken off at the door. On-street parking.

We are guests here, and our expectation is for everyone to be respectful and kind.
